Facebook name ت with cool letters & symbols
Things have been changing. Right now to make your name out of symbols you have to have to only use a single language. For example you can write your name in Greek, Russian, Spanish, Polish, Czech. I wrote my in Spanish, in an actually correct way: Ihor Méñshykov , even more correct than English. Some people make their names a hell lot fancier, like ταημα ρπιηζε λττιτυδε ρεπςσηιζιεδ (↢ that's Greek), ᒫᙓᘎᕠᐎᖸᕲᘎ ᒺᘮᖳᔖ , it even goes to extremes like ʎddɐɥ ʎddɐɥ ʎddɐɥ ʎddɐɥ ʎddɐɥ ʎddɐɥ ʎddɐɥ ʎddɐɥ ʎddɐɥ ʞooqǝɔɐɟ . Or no, the last one is actually a page name, not a person's name. (✿◠‿◠) Some people just add a smiley, like Ü ü (↢ that one is used in Spanish, German and French). You choose your style, you choose your alphabet, it's your name.
Next are some alphabets with special symbols. Remember, if it's rare that Facebook would accept a name made out of letters from two languages. So try to only use single one.
Note that you may reach a "name change limit" if you'll be experimenting for too long.
I want a name like that one!
How can I get a name like my friend [stylised name] has? I don't really know what language it is, but I would love to make my name look like that. Please, help.
Well, basically to do such a thing you have to find here, or search the web for a single character from that name which is part of some alphabet. You will probably find which alphabet your friend uses. Then, you can find the whole alphabet he uses and then try to make some simple word out of it and put it on Facebook as your name and surname. Then, if the alphabet works on Facebook, which it should, you can make a stylish name from it. Sometimes people's names may actually include letters from several alphabets which are close geographically. That is because, probably, Facebook doesn't have a very strong filter for names. Bear that in mind. ;)

Facebook chat
Next part is currently old, cause Facebook changed it's policy on symbols in names. But you can check how it used to work before if you're planning to travel back in time.
Facebook menu to configure your name
-
Go to
your Facebook account settings
.
To do that, follow my link or check FB's top-right menu "Account" for "Account settings" button.
- Click "change" that stands above your current name.
Now you can and should see menu where you are able to change your first, middle and last name. If you just want to alter one of them - you're there. If you want to add there some special symbols, like in my " Cool text Symbols for Facebook ϡ " - read on.

Common mistakes
You may not mix character types within one word.Facebook banned multi-language words. Because there happen to be no names that start on English and end up on Ukrainian, etc. Some symbols like ツ ت happen to be on some Arabian, etc languages. It's suspicious when you use them in English words.
The name contains too many words. There happen to be no names from 5 words, you know..
Your name change request has been rejected by our automated approval system. As I understand, Facebook staff have banned some symbols and words from usage in names.
The name contains invalid characters.Had this when I tried ¡. Some characters are just not supported at all. When I copied it into "What's on your mind?" - Facebook ignored the whole message that I wrote it in. Even though, some Facebook users still have some of those characters in their names. But that's just because they've put them there before Facebook banned those symbols.
You must provide your real name.I got this when I tried my name as "Say-twice Say-twice". I think they say this when they feel like you're taking them for fools.. ;)
Name change request submitted. That's not an error. If you get this then you might have a big chance. Go to your Facebook homepage to find out if your name was approved. If it wasn't - you still might have a little chance that it will get approved some time later if you won't change your name before. Maybe, even after a couple of days. But the chance is small - that after-a-couple-of-days thing happened only once to me.. =)
